In this example, trail S41 is chosen from the alphabetical dropdown list. Please note that the Old Forge/Inlet permitted trail system doesn't use the same naming scheme as the state-funded corridor and secondary trails. The majority of the Old Forge/Inlet trails are numbered and show up first in the list.

The map zooms in and highlights all segments of the selected trail in a bright aqua color. The popup window displays the lists of trails. Note which trails have been GPSed. You can zoom in closer on any trail included in the list. Be sure to scroll down as needed.

Remember, many of our trails having the same ID show up in multiple counties, but aren't all connected. It's just the way things have evolved over time.

You can clear the selection (turn the trails back to their original colors) by clicking on the X button in the "Move Around the Map" tool bar section above the map.
